This delicious  Alaskan salmon salad is a quick and easy recipe that you can serve for quick healthy lunch or dinner idea.

This alaskan salmon salad is a great idea to make when you have friends over  serve it less than 12 minutes!  It’s delicious with grain free crackers and Italian tomato sauce – check also my gluten lectin free easy cracker recipe  it is fantastic with this salad.

and it is good for brain health and function

for this recipe i used wild caught alaskan salmon from trader joe’s sold in bpa free can, and one ingredient only, no chemicals added, but you can also bake wild caught alaskan salmon and use it in this recipe.

I added avocado, because it is  high in fiber, heathy fats vitamins and minerals

This salad is also polyphenol rich, because of good amount of extra virgin olive oil, red onion, lemon zest , black pepper and organic cilantro.

 Polyphenols are micronutrients that are natural energy boosters – Polyphenols keep your blood vessels healthy and flexible promoting good circulation, polyphenols also feed good gut bacteria and protecting cells from free radicals.

You can serve it as a salad, or you can serve it as a topping on crackers

Alaskan Salmon Salad Recipe:

All you need is a simple handful of ingredients that can easily make the salad Yummy, healthy, and nutritious.
This serving is up to 4 individuals

  1. 1/2 Red Onion – Cut into small pcs.
  2. 1 Avocado – Cut into small pcs.
  3. 2 cans of Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon – or 2 slice of baked wild-caught Alaskan salmon.
  4. 1/2 cup or more organic cilantro.
  5. Zest of 1 Lemon.
  6. Juice of one lemon.
  7. 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
  8. Iodizes Sea salt to taste – I used about 1/2 teaspoon.
  9. Black pepper little over 1/2 teaspoon – mix all together very well.
  10. (2 tablespoons of flax seeds is optional).

How to make Salmon Salad Recipe:

  • In a big bowl, combine the canned trader joe’s salmon or baked salmon with other ingredients and mix everything.
  • Use my homemade flat bread recipe to serve the salad in pizza form.
