Millet Pasta Recipe Ingredients
- 1 box of Millet or Cassava Pasta (any shape)
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 cup of Italian tomato sauce
- 1 red onion
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of iodized sea salt
- 1/2 cup of parsley
How to Make Millet Pasta in Tomato Sauce
This gluten-free pasta is ready in 10 minutes and it takes a total cooking time of about 15 min.
Here is how to make a quick healthy dinner that is gluten-lectin -free pasta dinner. Check out my other lectin free dinner ideas.
Step #1 Prepare the Millet Pasta
- Prepare 1 box of Millet pasta (or cassava or any gluten free pasta of your choice) and cook it for 10 min.
- During the pasta is cooking-cut the onions and garlic.
- After 10 min of boiling, rinse pasta and drain in cold water to wash away starch and to make pasta lose – and then put aside.
Step #2 Sauté the Garlic
Pour 4 tablespoons of olive oil or avocado oil into a pan. Saute 1 red onion with 5 cloves of garlic for 4 min on medium heat
Step #3 Add millet Pasta
Add cooked millet pasta, 1 cup of Italian tomato sauce, and 1 teaspoon or more of iodized sea salt and mix well.
Step #4 Add the parsley
Add 1/2 cup of parsley mix well turn off the stove and serve – you can also serve it also with sheep’s milk feta cheese. It is truly delicious both ways.
