A mushroom tortilla wrap is perfect for lunch or dinner ideas. All you need to do is to season and bake mushrooms. After that add chopped arugula and wrap it in SIETE almond flour tortilla or cassava tortilla or trader joe’s almond flour tortilla.

Pre Recipe Note

Please avoid white mushrooms, because DR Gundry mentioned in his podcast that white button mushrooms often come up as food sensitivity, he said they don’t see it once people change it to shiitake or portobello, or any other mushroom. Popular biohacker Dave Asprey also recommends to avoid white mushrooms.

Mushroom Tortilla Wrap Ingredients

This serving makes 4-5 tortillas depending on the size of the tortilla.

  • 2 cups of organic baked mushrooms
  • Almond Flour Tortilla – Siete or Trader Joe’s Brand
  • 1/2 cup of chopped arugula


  • 3/4 tsp of iodized sea salt
  • 1/2 ts of black pepper
  • 3 tbl spoons of olive oil
  • 1 tbl spoon of Italian tomato sauce for each wrap

Easy Steps

Here are four simple steps to make mushroom almond flour tortillas.

Step 1

Wash and chop mushrooms, season, and bake for 30 min @ 350

Step 2

Chop organic arugula and mix with baked mushrooms

Step 3

Heat the pan for 3 min – put tortilla 0.50 seconds on each side

Step 4

Spread tomato sauce on the tortilla and add 3 tbl spoons of mushrooms like I do in the video, and fold it, if you want it to go – scroll and wrap it in unbleached parchment paper.
